A Guide To Dogging

I got a message from one of the Swingers.ie members earlier this week and he came up with a very interesting point. After reading our two 'new swingers' articles by another one of the forum members, he had an idea. Despite enjoying the pieces, he made the point that dogger's don't seem to get much airtime on the website in regard to articles.

To be fair he is probably right. Most of the writers on here engage in swinging and not dogging. Yet so many of our members are dogger's, or are interesting in engaging in that activity. Where is the advice page for them?

Well, after doing some research, Swingers.ie have put together a beginners guide to dogging. If that is what you fancy, we hope this piece is useful!

Here goes.

One of the things you need to remember before you venture out dogging is the fact that what you are doing is going to be illegal. When I say illegal, there is no specific law again dogging, but if the police turn up then you are likely to get arrested for public indecency.

This is why location is so important, as is not drawing attention to yourself.

The Weather

Now this may sound obvious, but how popular a dogging location will be is highly dependent on the weather. Let's face it, even the most well known dogging spot will be devoid of people if it is pissing down. However, on a cool summer evening, you will meet plenty of people who are out for some fun.

However, here is a caveat. There are different kinds of rain. If it nice and warm drizzle then you may still get company at your dogging spot. However, if it is cold and blustery, you are screwed (and not in a good way)

Too Many People

Now when it comes to dogging, the last thing you want to do is to draw attention to yourself from the authorities. Therefore you need to work out if a place it TOO busy or not.

If you are using a small park or a rest area, seven people is too many. However, if the park is bigger then you can have about 30 people without it being too much of a problem.

Car parks are an interesting one. If you get there in the middle of the night and there are only a few cars there then that is fine. If it is suddenly full, I would personally turn round and go home to watch porn.

When you read an advertisement advertising a dogging place, you may well find a description like 'there will be a car with it's headlights on'. Really, you should have better information than that (like make of car, colour ect). The driver of the other car will be in for an unpleasant surprise if that isn't the car that was being advertised.

Going as a Couple

If you are a couple who wants to start dogging, you are likely to post an advert in a newspaper or magazine. When you do this, it is vitally important that you explain EXACTLY what you are looking for. If you want people to watch but not touch then say that. If people touching you will add to your excitement, say that also. But it is your job to be clear about the instructions.

Other Couples

If you come across a couple who want to be watched going at it, don't naturally presume they want you to join in and start touching them. Wait until you have been invited before moving onto the next level.

Safe Sex

Just because dogging isn't as 'structured' as swinging doesn't mean that you shouldn't be having safe sex. ALWAYS take condoms, and if anyone wants you to anything without them, refuse.

Best Times of The Day

When it comes to public parks, there are two main times of the day to go dogging. One is between 7 and 10 in the evening, and the other is after 3am when the pubs and clubs have shut down.

Well, we hope you found that useful. If any of you dogger's have any further questions please let me know and I will be more than happy to answer them.

Happy dogging everyone!
