Many people want to try swinging, but unless they happen to come across a website like ours, a number will consider swinging with friends. In reality though, is doing it with friends a good idea??
Some of The Benefits
On the positive side, friends can be easy to contact. You know who they are, so there will be no nerves about meeting new people who may not be how they described, or in fact could be assholes. You already feel comfortable in their company, so that may make moving on to the next level a lot easier.
You also don't need to trawl websites looking for fellow swingers, which as long as you have friends who fancy it, makes things a lot easier. You are likely in the same location, so that also makes things more convenient.
However, there are some big problems having sex with friends. One of the main benefits of swinging with strangers is that you can happily wave them off into the distance, and you never have to deal with them again. Therefore, you never get any mixed emotions.
A Nasty Downside
Sadly, if you have sex with friends, then those mixed emotions can come into play. Once you have had a session with them, they become people you get on with who you also had great sex with. That is the making of an affair, or at least you thinking about that person more than you technically should do in a healthy swinging environment. This can lead stress and even jealousy
These issues can lead to friendships breaking down which is never a good thing. What started a a couple of hours of fun can lead to close relationships that have lasted a number of years being destroyed.
But can you work out which friends you won't feel uncomfortable (or too comfortable) with afterwards? Well, no. You never know how you will feel about someone after sex, and therein lies the danger.
So should you swing with friends? Well it is incredibly risky, so it is up to you how much you value the friendship and what you are prepared to lose. That is one up to the individual or the couple, but I know, for me, I would much rather do it with strangers so my swinging life doesn't start affecting my normal life.
